Terrarian. May 30, 2020. #1. I think Blood Moon fishing is pretty interesting but I was thinking that it's a mechanic with a lot of potential and yet it isn't really used anywhere else in the game. The first thing that came to my mind is being able to do it during the Solar Eclipse, since it's essentially the hardmode version of the Blood Moon.
After the recent solar eclipse I got thinking that I wanted my world to have a solar eclipse and even if we already are getting an eclipse monolith, I just want to show how interested I am in having an eclipse monolith, if red sees this could you respond?
I made a terra blade, but are any other solar eclipse items worth using? I suppose I'll list my loot: Neptunes shell. 5 broken hero swords. Butcher's chainsaw. The Eye of cthulhu. 2 pairs of mothron wings. a ton of toxic flasks (got around 7)

This guide is meant for anyone out there playing on console who is attempting to get any Solar Eclipse event drop currently in console without too much hassle- be it banners, Broken Hero Swords, etc. This could possibly be a glitch and considered cheating, but, you don't have to do it if you feel it is dishonorable.
The Solar Eclipse is probably the most annoying since it affects the entire surface, and not just the middle of the world. (blood moon as well, but it's not as bad) I lost against Cultist one time because of Solar Eclipse enemies causing trouble. Apr 2, 2015. #1. Hi Crew, HappyDays here! The Solar Eclipse. A hardmode event in Terraria that can occur during the day. During this event lots of tough monsters spawn and you have a rare chance to get items like the Broken Hero Sword and the Broken Bat Wings. The item drops are so rare that making an AFK Farm for this event can help greatly!
