We allow it because there isn't an alternative (unlike picking up Rxs, which can be done in store) but definitely call to check because some stores might still say no due to the increased danger for people on foot in line at drive thru. It sucks but people are awful at driving and fly through parking lots and drive thru all the time.
I’m a shift and pharamacy called for back up every 20 minutes, had people come in to book the appointment while coughing, the drive thru line is out to the road and got costumer coming in to yell at the FS to direct the traffic.
Keep the window closed the entire time and make sure to make the people in drive-thru aware that you are providing a public service in the drive-thru and it might take a while for the line to move. People get ANGRY waiting in line when covid test in front of them in line takes a while, so be prepared tell them they couldve come inside as there ...
I can’t believe CVS is allowing walk ups in the drive thru for covid testing. All COVID-19 testing patients who present to drive thru should be serviced. If there is an immediate safety risk, please work with the patient to find an alternative testing solution. All other patients not within a motor vehicle should leverage in store options for ...

It'll take no more than 5 min. I've also done Walgreens testing which is less painful due to the fact that they don't make you stick it all way up. They just want you to move it around the opening of the nostril for 5 seconds or so. My CVS Results came the next day. Walgreens came in 3 days.
For a variety of reasons, probably not. Here are two: fear of getting COVID (customers lie about everything, including reasons for getting a COVID test) those lines are long and slow moving and Uber drivers get paid pennies per minute to wait. 5. Reply.
We do COVID testing through our drive through (10-5 weekdays with a break from 1-2, and 10-1 on weekends), and with one lane, wait times are long. So we always get pissy karens that come up (who could have easily just come inside btw) and yell at us for the wait times. IF i'm feeling particularly petty, I like to say "I'm so sorry, I had SCARED ...
The COVID testing is the primary reason I have people come complain about drive thru. Just this Saturday I had a lady walk OUT OF HER CAR IN LINE AT DRIVE THRU up to the window and process to scream at both the tech and the customer (a 78yo getting COVID test).
Using Lyft for Drive Thru Covid Testing. I’m am in Orlando, FL this week and need to get tested for Covid before traveling (work required testing 72 hours before departure.) I do not have symptoms, nor do I suspect I have covid. The closest testing site (CVS) is only doing drive-thru testing. I do not have a car here.
